Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Neurology specialist at Tyson’s Corner Medical Center in McLean, VA. This 1.0 FTE position (40 hours/week) offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits within a physician-led group.

Responsabilités

• Provide neurology care with a mix of virtual and in-person visits.
• Conduct 30-minute appointments, about 6–7 patients per half-day session.
• Provide hospital coverage and participate in a physician call schedule.
• Collaborate with experienced support staff and pursue leadership opportunities if desired.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Neurology at Tyson’s Corner Medical Center.

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises of board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long‑term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 1.0FTE, which is the equivalent of 40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below

• Provide care through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for excellent work life balance
• Provide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visits
• Conduct 30-minute appointments, approximately 6-7 patients per ½ day session
• Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers
• Provide hospital coverage
• Work with an experienced support staff
• Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired
• A physician friendly EMR (electronic medical record) system

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $335,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
