Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for a 26-week locum tenens assignment in Florence, Oregon. The clinician will cover general surgery services for inpatient and outpatient settings, with colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures, and will work weekday hours with call obligations.

Requirements include an active Oregon medical license, ACLS, and recent surgical case experience. Setting is a Critical Access Hospital with both inpatient and outpatient duties and an Epic

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Manage admissions and perioperative care.
• Perform colonoscopy and endoscopy as needed during the shift.

Seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for a 26-week locum tenens assignment in Florence, Oregon.

• Start: December 7, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM + call
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital - inpatient & outpatient
• Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults
• EMR: Epic
• Scope: General surgery, admissions, colonoscopy and endoscopy
