Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a board-certified General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage for a hospital in northeastern Oregon. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm, with nightly call and 24-hour weekend call; setting includes clinic and OR; case types include upper and lower GI, hernias, open belly procedures, and endoscopy.

No ERCPs or stents. Travel and lodging are provided, along with licensing/credentialing support, a dedicated recruiter, and comprehensive malpractice

Qualifications

• Board-certified General Surgeon.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens general surgery coverage in clinic and OR.
• Manage GI procedures and surgical cases per assignment.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to schedule and on-call requirements.
