Are you a board-certified physician looking for a rewarding opportunity to provide expert medical opinions in Florida Workers’ Compensation cases? Maximus is seeking MDs and DOs to serve as Expert Medical Advisors (EMAs) to support peer reviews, expert testimony, and dispute resolution related to medical treatment and reimbursement.

As an EMA, you will play a crucial role in providing unbiased, expert opinions when medical disagreements arise, ensuring fair and accurate decisions in workers’ compensation cases.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Active, clean Florida Medical License
  • Board Certified in your specialty

Requirements :

  • Submission of two completed Florida Workers’ Compensation medical reports from the past two years
  • 20 hours of continuing medical education (CME)
  • Successful completion of EMA tutorial review questions (95% accuracy)
