Location: 13800 W. 135th Street Olathe, KS 66062

VCA Olathe Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our exceptional team!

Schedule: This is a full time, flexible position that would include some Saturdays. Our current hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Will consider part-time if preferred.

What You'll Do

As a member of VCA Olathe Animal Hospital, you will support the team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Skills that will be utilized may include, but are not limited to:

• Client education and communication
• Patient check-ins and assessment
• Assisting DVM during outpatient appointments
• Invoicing
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Radiology
• Dentistry
• Venipuncture, catheter placement
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy duties, medication preparation and administration
• Compassionate patient care
• Housekeeping duties
