Our law practice is seeking an Estate Planning and Probate paralegal to assist us with providing document drafting, case analysis, and case management for a rapidly growing influx of new clients.

We are a mission-driven law firm that believes that legal services can be delivered in a way that is both affordable for our clients, and profitable for our firm.

We offer various legal solutions that are tailored to the legal needs of our clients, as well as their financial circumstances.

For example, we provide limited scope representation and specific “unbundled” legal services for aspects of a case where clients need the most help on a fixed fee basis.

We provide full-representation billed on a flat fee or hourly basis, and allow clients to pay a lower initial retainer, and then pay for their on-going representation over time with automated weekly/bi-weekly and monthly payment plans.

We are looking for a paralegal that not only has experience in the practice of law, but also sees value in our mission and approach to the practice of law, and will therefore be a natural fit to work with our firm.

Required Skills:

-At least 2 years of paralegal experience

-Excellent writing skills and comprehension

-Exceptional communication skills to interface with clients in a friendly and professional manner

-Detailed oriented, organized and ability to track and manage case deadlines and task for a high number of clients

-High level ability to work independently

-Skilled at conducting analysis of fact patterns and law in cases

-Efficient and effective document drafting

-In-depth knowledge of local court filing procedure

-Must also be comfortable with technology as we utilize cloud-based practice management software and technology-based tools in our practice

Availability:

This is an independent contractor, work-from-home position. You will have the ability to set your own schedule, starting at 10-25 hours per week, which can increase over time (30-90 days) as we service more clients together.

Compensation:

$25-45 per hour depending on experience and based on performance over time.
