Job summary

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. in Katy, TX is seeking empathetic in-home caregivers to support an elderly male client in his home. The role includes personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

You will work one-on-one with the client, helping with mobility, errands, doctor visits, and daily living activities, while upholding health and safety standards and reporting any incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum 1 year).
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• High level of compassion and customer-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by assisting with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Assist with mobility around the house and accompany to appointments or errands.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and assist with meals.

Salary: $11 - $16 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating


• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, grocery shopping,etc.)


• Assist with personal care and hygiene


• Plan and prepare meals


• Perform housekeeping duties


• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency


• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving
