Job summary

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an empathetic caregiver for an immediate opening with a client in 77054. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companion care.

You will work one-on-one, with at least 1 year in healthcare or in-home care, valid driver's license, and a commitment to health and safety. Salary ranges from $11 to $16 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; CNA preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one with clients and provide compassionate care.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.).
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform housekeeping duties; report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving.
