Job Summary:

We are seeking energetic and experienced Teachers to join our team! As a Parent Educator, you will teach classes using the curriculum provided by the school on a temporary or long-term basis. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and highly organized!

Responsibilities:

  1. Present workshops on different topics such as: Technology, Parent, ESL: Language Development, College and Career Readiness, etc.
  2. Assign homework
  3. Take attendance
  4. Grade assignments and provide feedback
  5. Track students’ progress and document for the regular classroom teacher

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher
  2. Previous experience as a substitute teacher is preferred: Available in the A.M. and/or P.M.
  3. Understanding best practices in education and classroom management
  4. Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Bilingual a plus!
