Overview

Seeking a BC / BE Neurologist to join a hospital-employed position in an Austin, TX suburb. Medical Center is a full-service community hospital located less than 20 minutes north of Austin. General Neurology required with a specialized interest in seizure / headache and sleep medicine. Ability to read 3-hour EEG studies is required.

Location: Austin suburbs, a fast-growing community 20 minutes from Austin. No visa assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient (IP) consults and call, including participation in the hospital's certified stroke program.
• Provide outpatient (OP) neurology care in a clinic setting.
• Utilize on-site EEG capability, advanced imaging, interventional radiology, and a sleep center.
• Note: The hospital does not currently support neurosurgery or hemorrhagic strokes.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible (BC / BE) Neurologist.
• General neurology with specialized interest in seizure / headache and sleep medicine.
• Ability to read 3-hour EEG studies.

Call Coverage

Call coverage: 1:3.

• Office space available.
