Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer/SEDB Administrator to maintain and update the requirements management database. You will support schemas, automation, and engineering documentation with SYSML/UML expertise.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field, MS 365 proficiency, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Some travel may be required in a dynamic ISO-9000 environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT or Naval Engineering; relevant experience may substitute.
• Strong knowledge of MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, performance and update of the requirements management database.
• Assist other System Engineers with schema development and automation scripts.
• Develop systems engineering documentation (ops concepts, requirements specs, RVTM).
• Provide SME on systems modeling using SYSML and UML.
• Manage user profiles and system security permissions.
• Configure and maintain project schema, queries, views across lifecycle.
• Improve workflows through automation and custom development.
• Install/upgrade SEDB server and client installations.
• Ensure license compliance and renewals for SEDB tools.
• Monitor and optimize SEDB performance; coordinate upgrades.
• Travel as required.
