Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks a security/driver to operate center vehicles, transport students to and from the center and training activities, and assist with custodial tasks as needed.

You will work with Safety/Security to ensure the safety of students, staff, buildings, and property, performing checks of doors, windows, lighting, and alarms. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years related experience.
• Associate’s degree in criminal justice desirable and may be substituted for experience.
• One year of experience as a driver.
• Previous experience working with youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives center vehicles and transports students to and from the center and work-based learning activities.
• Maintains vehicles in a clean and safe condition and performs basic reporting.
• Performs security duties to protect people, property, and center facilities.
• Checks identification and enforces entry/exit policies for staff and students.
• Responds to alarms and incidents; supports law enforcement when needed.
• Maintains log of vehicle-related findings and corrective actions.
