Job summary

Google is seeking a Security Tooling Specialist for the GSST Technical Solutions team to design and deliver secure, scalable tools that bridge elegant frontend interfaces with robust backend infrastructure. You will embed AI/LLM technologies to accelerate automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive tools while tracking ROI.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in troubleshooting, plus hands-on experience with Python/Go,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable tooling within GSRS.
• Serve as the technical bridge between frontend UIs and backend infrastructure.
• Embed Google’s AI/LLM technologies to automate and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with end users, stakeholders, leadership and peers.
• Mentor teams and advocate for software development best practices.
