Job summary

Google is seeking a Security Tooling Specialist to design secure, scalable tools for Google’s GSST team. You will bridge frontend experiences with backend infrastructure, embedding AI/LLM capabilities to boost automation and ROI.

Collaborate across teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive tools and demonstrate impact with metrics. As part of GSRS, you will help sustain enterprise security programs, identify risks, and support leadership with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust full-stack applications, partnering with infrastructure and security teams to integrate new software solutions with legacy systems.
• Deliver tools with data integrations for operational flows and reporting in collaboration with the data team.
• Implement embedded AI and Agentic solutions to empower end users.
• Own the technical roadmap and strategy to scale the solutions delivered.
• Provide expert technical support while ensuring privacy and security standards.
