Operate metal detector equipment, perform bag searches and pat-down screenings as necessary.**Job Functions:*** Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.* Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to the guest.* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.* May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.* Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.* Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.* Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Perform bag searches.* Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.* Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.* Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.* Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.* Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.* Additional tasks as requested by Supervisor or Management.* This roll is part-time, seasonal and requires evening and weekend availability.**Qualifications:*** Must be at least 18 years of age.* High school diploma or equivalent experience required* Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
