Job summary

Alarm 24 is hiring a Security Technician to deliver cutting-edge security solutions across the St. Louis area. You will install, program, and commission CCTV, access control, fire, and burglar systems for diverse project scopes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, hands-on low-voltage experience, basic IP networking knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 10% is expected; competitive pay and annual bonus accompany comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Proven experience in low-voltage wiring, electronics, or security system servicing.
Basic IP networking knowledge and configuration.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and maneuver through tight spaces.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for regional projects.
Comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and commission CCTV, access control, fire, and burglar systems.
Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring and system faults.
Configure basic IP network settings for surveillance hardware.
Explain system functions to clients and provide training.
Perform clean installations using hand and power tools.
Maintain service records and installation documentation.
