Job summary

Alarm 24 is seeking a Security Technician to deliver cutting-edge security solutions across the St. Louis area. You will install and commission CCTV, access control, fire, and burglar systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients.

The role requires basic IP networking knowledge, hands-on low-voltage wiring skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer competitive hourly pay, annual bonus potential, weekly pay, and strong career development.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience with low-voltage wiring, electronics, or security servicing.
Basic IP networking knowledge and configuration.
Able to safely operate hand and power tools.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and commission CCTV, access control, fire, and burglar systems.
Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring and faults for optimal operation.
Configure IP network settings for surveillance hardware.
Explain system functions to clients and provide training.
Perform clean installations with hand and power tools per specs.
Maintain accurate service records and installation docs.
