Job summary

Premise One LLC is seeking a Security Technician to install security systems, ensuring project quality and customer satisfaction. You will handle Card Access, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection installations, work with lead technicians, and stay compliant with safety guidelines.

The role requires off-shift hours (12:30 AM–7:30 AM, Mon–Fri) and travel up to 60% of the time. You’ll participate in ongoing training and hold basic telecom tools for field work while collaborating with a professional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AV, Security, Access Control, or Infrastructure Cabling.
• Must possess basic hand tools necessary for project completion.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Familiarity with industry tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install & direct project installations as directed by the Lead Technician.

Overview:

The Security Technician plays a pivotal role in the installation of security systems, ensuring projects meet Premise One's quality standards and customer satisfaction. This position requires proficiency in Card Access, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems, along with strong communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CLIENT SPECIFIC POSITION THAT REQUIRES OFF-SHIFT WORK, TYPICALLY 12:30AM – 7:30AM, MONDAY – FRIDAY. CANDIDATES MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN ADJUSTING WORKING HOURS, AS NEEDED.

• Possess basic telecom tools, including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, and cordless drills.

Requirements:

• Availability to work off shift work, overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments, as needed.


• Ability to handle physical workloads effectively.

Experience:

Three to Five years related experience and/or training required.

Language Skills:

Mathematical Skills

Competent ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Competent ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Competent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in situations where only limited standardizations exists.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Driving is a requirement for this position therefore A valid driver's license is required. The employee's motor vehicle record will be subject to the policies and provisions contained in the company's Fleet Safety Program.
