Job description

*Description*

This is a residential technician position based in the Pompano Beach office, covering areas around Broward County, including Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, and Pembroke Pines. Contractor technicians will be dispatched to jobs in clustered areas close to their location for efficiency.

*Requirements and Responsibilities*

• Previous experience in home security and/or CCTV installation or troubleshooting is required. Experience with commercial security monitoring systems such as CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads is preferred.
• Must be comfortable driving a personal vehicle, as no company vehicle will be provided. The work schedule is at least 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday.
• Mechanical aptitude and an adaptable personality are essential. Technicians are responsible for weekly inventory management, which includes collecting inventory from the office and conducting quarterly checks.
• Training will consist of 2-3 weeks of ride-alongs with current ADT technicians. FASA BASA certification is required during onboarding.

*Skills and Qualifications*

• Experience with Burg, DSC, Ademco, Brivo, IP Cameras, CCTV installation, low voltage wiring, cable management, alarm systems troubleshooting, programming, and security system integration.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently with limited supervision, and a strong work ethic.

*Compensation and Benefits*

The hourly pay range is $18.00 - $22.00. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability insurance, HSA, transportation benefits, EAP, and paid time off, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.

*Work Environment*
