Job summary

Sage Integration Holdings LLC is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to support on-site client operations in Akron, OH. The role requires hands-on field work, installation, maintenance and service of security systems.

This position emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced security environment. You will document work orders, collaborate with field technicians, and ensure safety and quality while meeting project deadlines and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in a similar embedded/security role.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, alarms and related products/services.

Responsibilities

• Install & repair CCTV (analog and IP), access control, burglar alarms, and peripheral equipment.
• Document all aspects of installation & service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on indoor & outdoor equipment.
• Ability to pull wire.
• Ability to operate lifts/work at various heights.
• Abide by all customer and company safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

This position is 100% embedded at a client site in Akron, Ohio

Essential Functions:

• Strong organizational, time-management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with little supervision
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
• Flexibility to work extended hours, on-call schedule and travel overnight as needed
• Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information
  

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Physical Demands & Safety:

• Ability to lift an 80 lb. extension ladder
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds
• Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, utilizing fall protection
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
  

Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, American Dynamics, Prowatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms
  

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands on experience in similar position
• Working knowledge of MS Office and computers
• Ability to effectively use hand and power tools
• Experience with CCTV / Access control products and services
