Kia Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Site Security Specialist to support and enhance security programs, emergency response initiatives, and regulatory compliance across the manufacturing site in Georgia.

You will coordinate contracted security teams, liaise with law enforcement, and ensure readiness for crisis situations. The role requires collaboration with EHS, HR, IT, and legal teams to maintain secure operations, conduct investigations, and implement continuous improvements to protect personnel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 4–6 years in physical security or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contracted security operations, scheduling, reporting, inspections, and equipment accountability.
• Develop security supervisor/officer training and reinforce Kia Georgia safety policies.
• Ensure emergency responders maintain required certifications and credentials.
• Assist multiple departments to implement security programs supporting compliance and audits (CTPAT, ISO 27001).
• Support security tech systems: access control, CCTV, VMS, and surveillance assets.
• Contribute to site emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management.
• Maintain records, conduct investigations, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage security training, certifications, and credentialing for personnel.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate investigations with stakeholders.
• Support HR and Legal in workplace investigations and sensitive security matters.
• Provide new hire security training on CTPAT requirements and security controls.
