Job summary

Shindigs Riverside is a high-energy country bar, restaurant, and live entertainment venue seeking experienced Security Team Members. You will monitor entrances, de-escalate conflicts, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Ideal candidates have security or crowd-control experience, hold a California Guard Card and RBS certification, and can work nights and weekends with a calm, professional demeanor.

• Previous security or crowd-control experience preferred.
• Current California Guard Card required.
• Current RBS Certification required.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Calm, professional demeanor — especially during stressful situations.
• Friendly but firm personality.
• Good judgment and situational awareness.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue.
• Check IDs and assist with entry procedures.
• Help manage crowds during busy nights, live music, and events.
• De-escalate conflicts professionally before they escalate.
• Enforce policies consistently and respectfully.
• Look out for safety of guests, employees, entertainers and property.
• Communicate with managers and security teammates.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Document incidents accurately when required.

Shindigs Riverside is looking for experienced, dependable Security Team Members to join our crew.

We're a high-energy country bar, restaurant, and live entertainment venue, so we need people who can keep an eye on the room, handle situations professionally, and help make sure both our guests and team members feel safe and welcome.

We're looking for people who are friendly, confident, observant, and calm under pressure. You should know how to have a conversation before turning a situation into a confrontation.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and help maintain a safe, positive environment
• Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue
• Check IDs and assist with entry procedures
• Help manage crowds during busy nights, live music, and special events
• Professionally de-escalate conflicts before they become bigger problems
• Enforce Shindigs' policies consistently and respectfully
• Look out for the safety of our guests, employees, entertainers, and property
• Communicate closely with managers and other security team members
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary
• Document incidents accurately when required
