Job summary

Connexus Hub is seeking a Security Specialist to support Government Agency and Fortune 500 projects on a part-time, as-needed basis. The team operates weekdays from early morning to evening.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI poly and involves a range of security tasks, including indoctrinations, badge processing, visitor control, and facility security. Qualified candidates have security experience with government agencies, strong customer support skills, and familiarity with intrusion

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 4+ years of relevant security experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years’ experience providing administrative and physical security for a Government Agency.
• 2+ years in a customer supporting role.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection systems and government-approved devices.
• Working knowledge of JPAS DISS and Scattered Castles.

Responsibilities

• Physical Security: assist with walkthroughs and inspections.
• Indoctrinations and debriefings for sensitive programs; schedule polygraphs and investigate security violations.
• Process and verify security badges within 24 hours of request.
• Provide escorting services and front desk support for visitor control.
• Attend meetings and provide subject matter expertise on security matters.
• Conduct facility security walkthroughs and assist with closing procedures.

We are looking for a Security Specialist to provide coverage on a part-time, as needed basis. Our team works Monday-Friday, 5:45am - 8:00pm.

• Position Type: Part-time, as needed, W2 plus benefits
• Clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly

Duties:

• Physical Security: Assist in performing walkthroughs, inspections
• Indoctrinations and Debriefings: Conduct security indoctrinations into sensitive and classified programs, schedule polygraphs, investigate and reporting security violations, review and submit security clearance background investigations, administer and submit fingerprints, prepare foreign born waiver packages, other personnel security tasks
• Badging: Program badges and verify security badges within 24 hours of request
• Visitor Control: Provide escorting services as needed and provide font desk support
• Meetings: Participate in meetings and offer subject matter expertise
• Facility Closing: Conduct security walkthrough of the facility
