Job summary

Koorsen Fire and Security in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Security Systems Service Technician to install, inspect, and repair low voltage electrical systems including Security Alarm, Fire Alarm, Video, Camera and Access Control systems. This hands-on role requires mechanical/electrical aptitude and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of working experience.
• 2+ years' experience servicing commercial security systems.
• Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
• Active driver's license in good standing.
• Must pass drug and background screenings.
• Willingness to obtain state licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service or repair low voltage security and fire alarm systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and system blueprints for proper installation.
• Manage system components and inventory for each project.
• Provide on-site customer training on system operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during on-site calls.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain truck/tools.
• Handle emergency service calls for fire and security systems.
