Job summary

HCI Systems is seeking a Security Service Technician to inspect, test, service, and repair Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Systems in medium to large commercial buildings. The role involves responding to service calls, testing equipment post-repair, and maintaining system components while coordinating with customers and other contractors on site.

Preferred credentials include California Alarm Company Employee card or the ability to obtain one, with experience across RS2, Samsung Hanwha, DMP,

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related administrative tasks.
• Excellent communications skills, with tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls for Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
• Test systems after repairs to ensure performance.
• Perform maintenance service calls at customer sites.
• Install, diagnose and repair wiring and control panels for security systems.
• Maintain and repair CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion components.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Assist customers on site with questions in a timely, professional manner.
• Communicate with other contractors and building owners to coordinate work.
• Resolve field problems through research of alternatives.
