Job summary

WilsonHCG is seeking an experienced Security Service Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, and fire alarm systems for an established client base in North Carolina. The ideal candidate has strong networking knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while supporting team members.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing or servicing electronic security systems.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, IP addressing, PoE switches, and network troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain NC Alarm Registrant license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, fire alarm).
• Troubleshoot system and network-related issues using documentation and manufacturer support.
• Document service activities with photos/videos of repairs.
• Complete small system additions and upgrades and communicate costs to customers.
• Install and repair wiring and conduit in NEC compliance.
• Read blueprints and system drawings; use testing tools like multimeters and testers.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and submit daily/weekly reports.
• Travel up to 20% and participate in on-call rotations.
