Job summary

Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Company, Inc. in Merrimack, NH is seeking an experienced Installation Tech to install, program, and service low-voltage security systems for commercial and residential environments. You will wire, configure, test, and troubleshoot alarms, cameras, and access control while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with project teams, prepare proper documentation, and support clients during system handovers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as security installation technician or low-voltage installer.
• Experience installing alarm, video surveillance, and/or access control systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wired/wireless alarm systems and IP/analog surveillance cameras.
• Program, configure, and test security systems per specifications.
• Run and terminate low-voltage wiring; manage cable labeling and documentation.
• Perform field testing, diagnose faults, and resolve issues.
• Conduct client handovers with training and basic troubleshooting guidance.
• Prepare as-built drawings, device lists, and service reports.
