Job summary

Martin Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a field service technician to provide ongoing service, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and upgrades for electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, and alarm systems). You will ensure continuous, reliable protection for customers by delivering high-quality service and maintaining system uptime.

The role involves traveling between sites up to 80% of the time, some on-call after hours and weekends, and documenting work orders while communicating

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience servicing CCTV and access control.
• Alternative: 1–2 years alarm service and low-voltage experience.
• Strong IT background with IP networking, VLANs, and basic server/client configurations.
• Reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and testing of batteries and sirens.
• Program, configure, and commission software and hardware as required.
• Promptly report defects that may affect customer protection.
• Demonstrate system operation to customers and explain alarms.
• Maintain service records and communicate with customers and supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service aligned with company standards.
• May be on-call after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
