Job summary

Integrated Security Solutions (ISS-KY) is seeking a Security System Field Technician to install, service, and maintain CCTV, burglar alarm, and access-control systems for clients across New Mexico. The role requires the ability to work independently or with a team and to travel locally and possibly out-of-state.

You should have hands-on experience with CCTV (analog/IP), burglar alarms, and access control, plus Windows and networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ky. driver’s license.
• Ability to drive service vehicle safely.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator and team worker.
• Experience with CCTV, burglar alarm, and access control systems.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS; Linux is a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally and out-of-state.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install Video and Access Control to a diverse customer market, both locally and nationally.
• Perform camera placement for surveillance systems, including focusing and positioning.
• Plan, run, and terminate various cabling (Coax, CAT5, etc.).
• Set up, mounting, and installation of NVR and low voltage power supplies.
• Problem solving including debugging and resolving low voltage electrical, cable, computer hardware and software issues.
• Basic networking skills and knowledge.
• Track and maintain control of inventory and equipment.
• Submitting and maintaining timely and accurate installation, service, and inventory paperwork.
• Responsible for the use of company provided vehicle and the inventory within.
• Working knowledge required for the use of office email, calendars, and company provided tablet/laptop.
