Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise physical security systems with a focus on Avigilon AV/ACC and ACM. You will collaborate with security operations, IT, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant security across multiple facilities.

The role requires hands-on Avigilon experience, IP networking proficiency, and the ability to read drawings and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Physical Security, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Hands-on experience with Avigilon Control Center (ACC) and Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM).
• Experience with IP video surveillance, access control, and security monitoring technologies.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, switching, routing, and network security principles.
• Experience configuring and supporting cameras, video recorders, card readers, controllers, and security appliances.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, network diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience managing vendors, installers, and system integrators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support Avigilon security solutions including ACC, ACM, and analytics platforms.
• Engineer and maintain enterprise CCTV, video surveillance, access control, intercom, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Manage configurations, upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle planning for security devices.
• Develop security standards, architecture docs, procedures, and system diagrams.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and integration issues; root-cause analysis.
