Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Security Systems Architect with a Phoenix, AZ (100% Remote) base client to join their team. This is a contract-hire role at the rate range of $65-75/hr.

Terms:

Contract-Hire

Pay Range: $65-75/hr.

Location Details:

Fully Remote Role: Must be comfortable visiting Phoenix periodically.

About the Role:

1. Analyze, document, and report on potential security incidents.
2. Understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits that could impact systems, networks, and assets.
3. Act as a coordinator for security events that require an urgent response, containment, and remediation.
4. Provide analysis on various security enforcement technologies (SIEM, anti-virus, content filtering/reporting, malware prevention, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, web application firewalls, messaging security platforms, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
5. Provide ongoing recommendations to Security Architecture design and implementation.
6. Actively research current threats and attack vectors being exploited in the wild.
7. Actively work with Cyber analysts’ team and perform investigations.
8. Set priorities for the “Detect” and “Respond” (NIST Cyber Security Framework).
