The role emphasizes preventative maintenance on intrusion, video, access control, and fire systems, with hands-on field experience and structured milestone pay adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on intrusion, video, access control, fire and integrated systems.
• Test, inspect and clean equipment (e.g., DVRs and video devices).
• Inspect, test and replace batteries and control panel batteries.
• Ensure access control devices are working properly.
• Test intrusion points, alarms and backup signals.
• Document inspections and complete maintenance checklists.
• Communicate with customers to schedule calls and provide ETA.
• Escalate problems when needed and inform team members.
• Maintain professional relations with customers and mentors.
• Attend in-person and virtual training courses.
• Complete weekly status reports and testing.
