The role supports security processing, badge issuance, and learner in-processing within a Defense education framework in Reston, VA. Requirements include 3+ years in security support, ability to verify clearances, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in security support functions.
• Knowledge of verifying security clearances/access levels for personnel.
• Excellent oral communication skills and ability to manage time-critical tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PK.I certificate creation/uploading, issue badges, network tokens, create student accounts, and issue computer log-ons.
• Provide support to course managers and learners to complete in-processing requirements and coordinates with agency Special Security Office (SSO) when needed.
• May support the Education Support Specialist if they have the required training and experience.
