At the Kia Forum, the Security Supervisor is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and supporting incidents impacting the business, brand, or employees. The role requires problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail. The Security Supervisor will communicate incidents to leadership and supervise a team monitoring cameras, alarms, and providing assistance to employees and guests. The position supports the venue in crisis and non-crisis situations.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

1. Supervise a team handling emergency and routine calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment, and assisting employees, vendors, and guests.
2. Monitor social media tools to identify threats or risks.
3. Guide the team during safety incidents, dispatching appropriate personnel via various communication systems.
4. Maintain records of communications and incidents, and compile reports for management.
5. Evaluate incidents affecting employees or the venue and escalate as necessary.
6. Disseminate information to key partners using established communication channels.
7. Handle sensitive situations maintaining confidentiality and security practices.
8. Participate in projects related to security operations.
9. Train contract security staff on venue standards.
10. Inspect security posts to ensure task awareness.
11. Document activities and incidents during events.
12. Enforce venue policies and respond to violations and complaints.
13. Manage crowd control and document damages.
14. Maintain employee and visitor ID programs.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in CCTV, access control, and security software.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• Problem analysis and solution implementation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Special Requirements

• Stand for extended periods during events.
• Valid security guard card.

Compensation

Target salary is $25 per hour.
