GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer!

Ready to serve as a Surveillance Security Guard?

This role requires a sharp eye for detail and excellent observation skills, as you will monitor security systems and screens to detect threats.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will identify potential threats early in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

• Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM
• Hourly wage: $25.96 / HR (DailyPay available)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity
• Document incidents and write detailed reports
• Respond promptly to incidents and threats
• Conduct regular patrols for safety
• Control access and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security system performance and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
• Ensure safety of individuals and property

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED documentation
• Pass extensive screening
• Strong report writing skills
• Excellent visual and concentration skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Security Supervisor, Military, or Law Enforcement experience (≥3 years)
• DCJS Virginia Security License
• At least 21 years old
• Experience with CCTV monitoring
• Complete 16 hours of on-site training
• Pass an MVR check
• Computer and phone skills
• Ability to walk long distances
