Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments and deter threats. You will read environments, anticipate risk, and act decisively, with duties spanning access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with authorities.

The role is full-time on the 2nd shift (10 a.m.–6 p.m.), with pay and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions, paid time

Qualifications

• Must have prior lead or supervisor experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must provide proof of High School Diploma or GED.
• Be able to pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Supervisor – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Prior experience in a lead or supervisor role preferred
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
