Job summary

M1 Global seeks a Security Supervisor in Louisville, KY to lead on-site security personnel, coordinate with client facility management, and ensure safety and incident reporting are handled professionally. The role requires supervisory security experience and a solid grasp of emergency procedures.

The candidate will train staff on fire safety, emergency responses, and reporting processes while ensuring adherence to internal policies and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience managing security staff.
• Background in security or safety operations preferred in logistics, fulfillment or industrial settings.
• Prior experience in security industry, military or law enforcement is required.
• Strong knowledge of emergency procedures, safety standards and staff training.
• Must complete pre-employment screenings and meet local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision for all assigned security personnel.
• Serve as the primary liaison between M1 Global and client facility management.
• Train and supervise staff on emergency response procedures, fire safety measures, and incident reporting.
• Ensure compliance with M1 Global policies and performance standards.
• Conduct site inspections and document risk conditions, incidents, and safety concerns.
• Report findings to client and Metro One leadership in a timely, professional manner.
• Support emergency initiatives, incident response and operational readiness.
• Manage security equipment and patrol vehicles and ensure proper use and maintenance.
• Foster productive, collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Implement and maintain effective communication protocols for seamless coordination.
