Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Site Supervisor in Houston to coordinate security operations on a construction site. You will supervise Security Officers, ensure compliance with client requirements, and support the Account Manager in maintaining safety and operational effectiveness.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced conditions on site. It reports to the Account Manager and involves shifts including weekends and irregular hours in a full-time

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in security.
• Must possess a Texas Level II Unarmed Security License.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of access control and incident response protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills.
• Background check, drug screening, and MVR check required.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods outdoors at a construction site.
• Remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure uniforms, equipment, and duties are proper.
• Monitor access control, visitor logs, and vehicle entry per client protocols.

• Prepare and submit incident reports and daily logs accurately and on time.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of security personnel.
• Maintain professional communication with client, Account Manager, and site staff.
• Identify hazards and promote a safe work environment.
• Ensure adherence to company and client standards for safety and service.

Position Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the coordination and oversight of all security operations at an active construction site in Houston, TX. This position provides daily supervision to Security Officers, ensuring compliance with Prosegur policies, client requirements, and safety standards. The Site Supervisor supports the Account Manager in maintaining operational effectiveness, quality assurance, and a secure environment for all personnel, equipment, and property on site.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced construction setting.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of assigned Security Officers to ensure all post orders and procedures are followed.
• Assist the Account Manager with scheduling, shift coverage, and timekeeping to maintain continuous site coverage.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure officers are properly uniformed, equipped, and performing duties as required.
• Monitor access control procedures, visitor logs, and vehicle entry in compliance with client security protocols.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, providing leadership and direction during critical situations.
• Prepare, review, and submit incident reports, daily logs, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new security personnel.
• Maintain professional communication with the client, Account Manager, and site personnel to address issues promptly.
• Promote a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards or unsafe practices.
• Ensure adherence to company and client standards for professionalism, safety, and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Account Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in the security industry or related field (construction or industrial sites preferred).
• Must possess a current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Unarmed Security License.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, management, and clients.
• Knowledge of access control, visitor management, and incident response protocols.
• Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills.
• Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions typical of a construction environment.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in both routine and emergency situations.
