Masonic Homes Kentucky is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming campus in Louisville, KY. This role involves patrolling buildings and grounds, responding calmly to incidents, maintaining reports, and enforcing access procedures while providing friendly resident and guest interactions.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and prior security or customer-facing experience preferred.

• Previous security, safety or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• provide a courteous and visible presence while ensuring the safety of our campus
• patrol building interiors and exterior grounds, proactively identifying and addressing concerns
• respond to incidents professionally and with sound judgment
• maintain accurate records and reports of all activity and follow standard protocols
• monitor and uphold all access, visitor and sign-in procedures
• communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, staff and guests
• assist with emergencies or evacuations and report issues to appropriate leadership
• support the overall well-being of our community through strong situational awareness
