Job summary

United States Fleet Forces Command seeks a Security Specialist to develop, manage, enforce, and assess compliance for the command's PERSEC and Insider Threat programs, within the Security Department of the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center.

The role requires evaluating policy effectiveness, delivering security guidance, and supporting telework eligibility in a federal context. Location is Monterey, CA, with a posted pay range and required security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and enforcing security policies for government programs.
• Ability to assess effectiveness of PERSEC and Insider Threat initiatives.
• Education or experience meeting the GS-11/GS-09 qualification paths described, including graduate transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, enforce, and assess compliance and effectiveness of PERSEC and InT policies and procedures.
• Oversee and audit the security program within the command’s Security Department.
