The Security Specialist of Major Projects plays a key role in ensuring security requirements are effectively identified, integrated, and maintained throughout all phases of large-scale construction projects. In partnership with the Director of Risk Management – Corporate HSE & Security, this position collaborates with project managers, operations leaders, contractors, and external stakeholders to evaluate security risks, implement protective measures, and uphold corporate security standards. Serving as a trusted security advisor, the Security Specialist helps safeguard personnel, assets, information, and facilities while supporting the successful delivery of major projects. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to embedding security considerations into project planning, design, and execution, while balancing project schedules and operational objectives.
