Job summary

Defense Microelectronics Activity seeks a Security Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive security programs across PERSEC, INFOSEC, physical security, and OPSEC. The role requires proactive problem-solving, high autonomy, and the ability to manage sensitive activities affecting DMEA operations.

Responsibilities include administering security programs, handling personnel security investigations, reviewing DD Form 254 contracts, and ensuring proper handling of classified materials.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience equivalent to NH-02 (GS-11) in the Federal service.
• Experience adjudicating personnel suitability and managing clearance investigations.
• Experience with access control, CCTV, and security assessments of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop security solutions for complex situations with high autonomy.
• Oversee, implement, and support PERSEC, INFOSEC, physical security, and OPSEC.
• Initiate and review personnel security investigations and manage clearances using DISS.
• Review contracts and conduct security surveys to protect government information.
