Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC seeks a Junior-Level General Security Specialist to support security operations across DoD and IC programs. You will help maintain records, process access actions, and assist in security reviews while ensuring compliance with government directives and regulations.

The role requires organizational skills and the ability to follow policies. Ideal candidates have less than three years in security operations, active IAT/IAM Level II, and TS clearance with SAP/SAR

Qualifications

• Less than three years of experience in security operations or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles, policies, and procedures.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise across multiple security disciplines.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, etc.).
• A Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining security records, databases, files, and compliance documentation.
• Support processing of visit requests, access requests, clearance actions, and security-related administrative requirements.
• Assist in conducting security reviews, inspections, self-assessments, and compliance activities.
• Support implementation of security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and track security actions to ensure timely completion and compliance.
• Assist with security awareness initiatives and security education programs.
• Coordinate with government personnel, program teams, and security professionals to resolve security-related issues.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and security documentation.
• Support incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action tracking efforts.
• Perform research and administrative support functions related to security operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of classified and sensitive information.

Description *This opportunity is currently in the proposal phase and is set to be awarded in early 2027.* ProSync is seeking a passionate Junior-Level General Security Specialist to support and execute comprehensive security operations across Department of Defense and Intelligence Community programs. This position serves as a key contributor to security compliance, risk management, and operational security efforts while supporting personnel, physical, industrial, information, and program security requirements. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide security guidance to program personnel while ensuring compliance with government directives and security regulations. Requirements

• Less than three (3) years of experience supporting security operations, compliance programs, government security functions, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of security principles, policies, and procedures.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior security professionals.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise across multiple security disciplines.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.)
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate's Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted.
