Job description

This position is part of the Deputy Administrator for Naval Reactors, Department of Energy.

National Nuclear Security Administration Demonstration Project: This position is covered by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Demonstration Project.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NQ-0080-02 (GS-12) in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of personnel security, including relevant regulations, policies, and procedures that govern employee screening and access control
  • Experience in industrial security practices and physical security measures to safeguard facilities and protect sensitive information from unauthorized access
  • Implementing and overseeing protocols for the protection of classified information, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards
