Position Description

The Security Specialist fosters building safety by monitoring access control, documenting flows of residents, visitors, and emergencies, and handling resident requests while promoting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and management.
• Track packages and daily activities using building software.
• Log and inform residents of visitors, and manage access control and camera review.
• Handle administrative requests for Property Managers.
• Troubleshoot and de-escalate situations independently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• SORA Certification
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with radios, phones, computers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Weekend and evening availability.
• Professional appearance, ability to stand or sit for shifts, lift at least 30 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Adherence to SOPs.

Preferred Experience

• 1 year office/administrative experience.
• 1 year high-end residential or hotel experience (Bellman, Porter, Greeter, etc.).
• Knowledge of Carson and/or BuildingLink software.
