Key Responsibilities

As a Security Specialist, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Serves as a Security Specialist (Communications Security) Regional Operations Manager responsible for administering and executing the Communication Security (COMSEC) Program. Serves as the technical expert for cryptologic requirements for voice (wired and wireless), data connectivity and may serve as the alternate COMSEC account manager for a major account.

Works within the framework of agency policies and program objectives as prescribed by the Chief Security Officer or Division Director of Security Division. Advises the COMSEC Program Manager on all operational aspects of the program in the designated regional area of responsibility.
