Job Summary: KBR is seeking a Security Specialist who will provide security expertise with multi-dimensional skills encompassing collateral classified activities. The Security Specialist will be the customer focal point for security, analyze security procedures, and coordinate/recommend solutions on security deficiencies with the assigned government security task lead.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support the development of program security policy/instructions for consideration to the government security task lead.
2. Provide support for integrating flexible, cost-effective and threat-based security processes, plans and procedures to protect weapon system(s) during its lifecycle.
3. Assist with the implementation of the Resource Protection, Force Protection, and Anti-Terrorism programs.
4. Assist, plan, participate in, and coordinate efforts of the program office, contractors, and user commands in the preparation and revision of time-phased, event-driven Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Security Directives (PSDs) as required.
5. May support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
6. Support the periodic conduct of a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Two to five years of related experience encompassing collateral classified activities, acknowledged and unacknowledged special access programs, and SSE anti-tamper requirements.
2. Bachelor’s Degree.
3. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
4. Must have an active DOD Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain Top secret SCI/SAP clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Advanced Degree.
2. Prior performance in role as Security Manager.
