Responsibilities
- Lead technical pre-sales activities, from opportunity identification to closing deals. Collaborate with team members to meet outcomes and revenue goals.
- Provide excellent customer service, build credibility with client technical teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to optimize cybersecurity strategies.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities using your technical expertise, account management, and client-focused approach.
- Understand clients' business problems and design, communicate, and promote cybersecurity solutions to address those issues.
- Rapidly learn new technologies and develop integrated solutions using existing and emerging cybersecurity tools.
- Deliver technical presentations and demos to clients and partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels within client organizations.
- Establish strategic relationships to identify opportunities for cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Leverage partner alliances to increase opportunity identification.
- Utilize existing client products/tools to develop solutions with enhanced features and capabilities.
- Create white papers and knowledge base articles as needed.
- Provide thought leadership on security requirements, methodologies, techniques, and tools to reduce cybersecurity risks.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity and broad knowledge of cybersecurity tools and domains.
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions to clients.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and bookings aligned with targets.
- Knowledge of integrating enterprise cybersecurity solutions into client environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to listen to client needs and recommend solutions.
- Understanding of product licensing nuances.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with market research and developing potential solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, identity and access management, cloud services.
- Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP/CCSP, CISA, or ISACA.
