Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Solutions Architect II to support sales goals through direct pre-sales work, delivering high-quality, innovative security technology solutions to meet customer needs.

You will develop technical solutions, create SOWs, cost estimates, and collaborate with sales, management, and customers. A strong background in integrated electronic security and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 7 years with integrated electronic security solutions or 5 years in pre-sales/engineering.
• Industry tech certifications such as PSP, CCNA; or product-specific certification in Access Control and IP Video.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure; CCNA preferred; switches/routers/IP config knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage stakeholders by email, phone, and in person.
• Willingness to travel 20%-30% as needed; proficient with Bluebeam for design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions mapping customer requirements to security tech solutions.
• Create scopes of work and design narratives with cost estimates.
• Manage estimation processes with sales, management, and customer teams.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare compliant solutions.
• Research emerging technologies to support security integration projects.
• Interface with product partners to obtain pricing during estimating.
