The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with expertise in application security, network security, and ITAR compliance. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually depending on level and experience, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline; or 2+ years of professional experience in security software development in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with one or more software development languages (e.g., Python, C++, Rust).
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing production systems and improve security posture.
• Build prototypes, identify, design, and test security improvements.
• Implement secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review and guide software development for ITAR-controlled payloads.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Government standards and ITAR regulations.
